The series is ending prematurely with the seventh book (that post has some details and links to a longer one).
This decision broke my heart but was made for the sake of my health due to high levels of theft, hatemail, and the ensuing stress. I will endeavor to have a satisfying conclusion, but this means I have to rearrange things to make it a series end and try to reconnect with the characters and world, which is very hard to do. I need at least a year to revise and edit it after it’s written, and it’s not written yet–I do not have the time to devote to it.
This upsets people, I know, but I cannot magically make this book happen, so please do not yell at me. To write this book, I have to do so for me rather than because I feel obligated, and that has not been possible.
