Waverly Jones has always been fascinated with true crime–and that fascination turned to obsession eleven years ago when her sister was killed, thought to be the last victim of a now-dormant serial killer, and the primary detective on the case went missing. She hates people, has anxiety, and wears what’s been called Resting Sociopath Face with pride, but none of that has stopped her from becoming a successful private investigator. A new serial killer draws her back to her hometown where she still hopes to find out more about what happened to her sister–and where her teenage crush Detective Sebastian Kyle disappeared to.

Nancy Drew homage alternate covers will be on the special edition hardcovers with bonus features. Releasing alongside the ebook and paperback editions, available on Amazon (and sometimes directly from me).
Reviews and Endorsements
“The dark and strangely comforting mystery I didn’t know I needed in my life.” – Errant Dreams
“The Killing Beach is first in a twisty, intriguing thriller mystery series. New heroine Waverly has a calm, spooky Jessica Jones vibe that I immediately loved. Highly recommend.” – Sue London, Bestselling Author (historical romance)
“The Killing Beach is a masterful addition to the mystery genre that both pays homage to the themes we know and love, while simultaneously breathing new life into them. Complex, calculating, and unapologetically herself, Waverly Jones is the modern PI character you’ve been waiting for.” – Michelle Manus, author of the Nyx Fortuna series
“Five stars. F#cking hell.” – Krista D. Ball, author of the Ladies Occult Society series
“Astounding. “The Killing Beach” simultaneously honors and subverts classic noir tropes. Cameron’s careful attention to realistic detail makes everything feel creepily plausible, and makes set pieces that could easily sink into cliché urgent and vivid. Waverly likes to think of herself as unlikeable, but I like her a lot, and I’m very glad there are several more books in the series in the works.” – A. Lee Welles
“Waverly Jones is antisocial and strange, obsessive and a little creepy, and I would die for her.” – Ann Aguirre, New York Times & USA Today bestselling author
