Sunrise

Since the worst hasn't come to pass, warlock Nate O'Connor sets about fortifying cabin where he and Zara are staying and keeping out the coming sunrise.

Sunrise is narrated by Nate and takes place...well, you could say it takes place during Bloodlines, at dawn prior to the climax of the book. You could also say it takes place during the beginning of the fourth book, Exhumed. It also covers a period of time about twenty years before Bloodlines. All will be clear upon reading it.
