This serial is like a drug

Really and truly. Since it updates so sparsely (for good reason, I understand) I usually have to separate myself from it for longer periods of time - I try to ignore updates so that I can read new chapters all in one go.

And this is why.

Cliffhangers = boo.

But I love it.

I love how you actually managed to make this a bit of a surprise. It's one of those things in any other work that you'd totally "see coming" at one point or another, but with your writing, characters, and story in general you tricked me ("oh she's not going to -- HOLY **** SHE DID!")

Like I said, I love it. I'll definitely keep reading, one way or another. If it comes to buying the story as a physical real-life book to see where you take it, you can count me in.
