Well, I just replied at the forum too, lol, but yeah, I think he can be likened to a groupie. But then, that's not all that strange--isn't there the classic romantic story where the guy loves/admires from afar and thinks she's the bee's knees, practically worshiping the ground she walks on? Okay, so like usually it's in a high school setting and she's the homecoming queen, not a sexually abused runaway killer who is hiding from the cops and has super powers.
I'm pretty sure he does love her, though. I could easily be wrong, however, since I've been surprised before--I wasn't even aware he was a spy until it hit me towards the end of Part Two. I do hope to explore his character and conflicts later on. If I have time. Christ, I have a fucking lot of characters... Part Three was going to be more of "the Michael story" so maybe Thad can have Part Four, LOL.
