Damn...only a chapter in and I'm quivering with anticipation for next month's update. Darn you, good writers, for making us wait between installments (joke -- I love this stuff)
SO! The girls seem to be doing quite well. Cade's not an ass or anything, but I have to wonder what Natalya's been up to that she hasn't been dropping by. Is this more of that immortal thing talked about with Shaw -- she shows up for a few weeks every century and then leaves.? Time will tel (I hope)
Speaking of the girls, Gen and Merri are turning into Rusty and Danny from Ocean's Eleven! Those sly tricksters (pun very much intended)! I'd care about Cade's reaction, but I've only seen the one scene with him. Not much from Merri, but I did like the more adult Gen in that final scene. On the other side (other third?), Sage is even more open than last book, and that's.....alll I have to say about her, i guess.
Finally, Michael. He's really come down since his first visit to Krysta back in April (short story). Glad to see there's still some life and heart in the bastard, and....what's this? Is he afraid of the new Gen? OOOOOO!!!!
*starts worrying that this will be season 6 of Buffy with one of the main three being the Big Bad*
