Passion. Vengeance. Redemption. Sacrifice. Destiny.
"Skyla Dawn Cameron writes as though she has been producing bestsellers for years. She pulls out all the stops with her craft which is near perfect, and it is obvious she enjoys what she is doing."
- Bitten By Books (about a totally unrelated book, but whatever.)
Part One and Part Two are available to read online, as well as free PDF downloads. Part Three is currently in progress. Check out all three and the short stories in the "table of contents" link above. That's forty-two chapters plus three short stories available for free, no registration required.

I'm currently webmaster-less, so please note there are kinks in the site I can't fix. Sorry for any problems.
For Newbies:
A couple of notes in case you're new here (apparently an online book club read one of the books and was all confused, so I thought this bears mentioning in case I can help someone).
1. CotA was never written as YA. I know some people labelled it as such because the characters started at around 16/17. That's fine. But the series was intended to follow them until their early 20s. If Buffy was YA, fine, this was YA--but that's not how I wrote it so yes there are mature themes, a lot of swearing, sexy times (in part three in particular) and such. Michael is very much NOT a young adult and from part two on he's a POV character. The series is rated R for a reason. Please read it before you hand it to your kids.
2. There is a complete arc in each of the books but they're not intended as standalone. There is an overriding plot reaching from one through to the end of five. This means that mysteries and threads introduced in one, in some cases, won't be addressed until much later. It's a serial. This might be confusing to those coming at it after the initial run when books are available for download, but I'm hoping some will do a quick google ahead of time and hit this page. If I can keep people from going into the story with the expectation that the first book is standalone or not understanding the serial aspect, I'm happy to as I'd rather people not read something they won't enjoy.
Updated Site Is Updated
Sadly, I don't have any new chapter to post, but I did want to get things cleaned up a bit so it's at least presentable for new people who stop by. Please keep an eye on my website's upcoming page (updated quarterly) to see what I'm currently working on.
