Madam Curio strikes me as quite the "odd duck" in this chapter...She's either soused or in denial about the state of things w/ the shop and when confronted, her only reply is "I didn't want to worry you." It should be interesting to say the least to see what everyone comes up with in regards to keeping the shop open...Maybe Lilith will be forced to re-evaluate her ideals and use her nature as a succubus to benefit the shop? Maybe Briar will have to quit whining and do some work? I'm looking forward to reading more Skyla...Keep writing 'em and I'll keep reading 'em...
