I think he didn't get too rough because he knows Lilith doesn't like violence. If Scott shows up ranting to her about some guy beating him up, she's going to be very turned off by said guy when she actually meets him. Should Scott bother her again, he'll probably be hospitalized, though.

(Note how I said I *think*...I'm not entirely sure yet. They'll let me know later, LOL.)
