I love Lilith's mom. That she can complain computers are a fad (and given her age, she knows a thing or two about fads), and then uses phrases like, "brutally hot" to describe some guy she wants to set her daughter up with.

Although I don't think it's come into the story yet, she named her daughter Lilith because she wanted to raise her to be an independent feminist, so she named her after the mythological first wife of Adam. Except she wanted her daughter to be a feminist who used her seductivepowers, which Lilith all but ignores. So they have issues.

And the cat's name is Bill because I figured Lilith needs to be a fan of True Blood.

The Briar scene is brief--as the chapter title says, this is all about "After Hours"--for the most part, we just see everyone at work, so I wanted a quick glance of them at home.

Liam's scene threw me, a little--I wasn't expecting Billie to show up. I'm going to be doing more with her in the future, as she and Briar have a whole history I haven't gotten into yet.
