River - Cast
These are some of the faces you'll meet in RIVER.
River Wolfe - Not your average fifteen year old. River was once a wolf, but was bitten and changed into a human. She is unable to
change back, which is certainly one source of frustration for our heroine. She stumbles through the unfamiliarity of our
world, with little knowledge--or care--for human customs and traditions. Tends to keep her speech as monosyllabic as
possible, and is known to growl and try to stare people down.
Charlie - River's foster brother. He's a year older than her, and one of the only humans she trusts and likes. Not the brightest
guy, but definitely the sweetest, and he looks out for River as if she really was his sister. He accepts her eccentricities
without ever asking the reason for them, but still encourages her to try more "normal" activities. His only real frustration
is that all his pop culture references are totally lost on her.
Daryl Marsden - The human that changed River. She doesn't trust him, and from the beginning vows she will kill him if he can't change
her back. Despite the fact that she hates him, Daryl still tries to befriend her, and he protects her as if she was his
pack sister. He seems to have had a much easier time fitting in the human world.
Jen Morris - One of River's school acquaintances. Jen was immediately drawn to her, and despite River's reluctance, they eventually
developed a bit of a friendship.
Frank and Cindy Jenkins - River and Charlie's foster parents. River started living with them shortly after she was found, and they have been very
patient with her, despite her strange behaviour.
Brenden Vanderbelt - A not-so-nice guy from River's high school. Whenever River is around him, mayhem tends to ensue.
Lindsay Sinclair - Daryl's ex, and Brenden's current girlfriend. Not the most pleasant person on the planet. Confrontations with her tend
to turn ugly very quickly.
Gray Marsden - Daryl's father, and the only werewolf they know that is actually able to change from wolf to human at will.
Jewel - A long time friend of the Marsdens. Something is just plain strange about that girl...
