The Cast of CATHARSIS
Eve Shelby (Indigo) - The heroine of the story. Although when she goes to meet Rune, she insists she doesn't know what he is talking about, in truth she is fully aware it has something to do with her psi-powers. Despite her constant jokes and skeptical attitude, Eve is a very strong, caring individual. But troubled. You really don't know the half of it.
Rune - The de facto "leader" of the group. Of the still-living members of their online community, he and Eve are the only ones who have actually worked on honing their psi-skills. Smart, generally quiet and calm, always in control, it is easy to see why the others are so willing to follow his lead.
Jupiter - Tough, confident, and a bit of a chauvanist, Jupiter is well liked by everyone. Though somewhat macho, he still cares deeply for the others, and he's always the first one to follow and try to enforce Rune's rules.
Martie Cooper - Very friendly, with an infectious, bubbly personality. She hates it when others fight, and tries to be the mediator...unless she's doing the arguing. Sometimes people find her a little overwhelming at first, but she usually wins them over.
Breanna Darcy - Rune's girlfriend. Although she doesn't have any of the abilites the others do, she journeys with them to support Rune. She is immediately hostile toward Eve, though no one seems to know why.
Kitty - Though known as one of the more outgoing, flirty members of the group online, in real life she is very quiet and shy. She rarely speaks, and keeps mostly to herself.
Jace Hart - The group's computer genius. It was his job to locate the surviving members, and he is the only one who knows what everyone's actual identites are.
Desdemona Shelby (Dez) - Eve's twelve year old sister. Dez has been living with Eve for the past few months, and although she acts like a total brat, she loves and looks up to her big sister more than anyone.
Malcolm - Eve's ex-boyfriend. Though they broke up five months earlier, he still really loves her . He was never made aware of any of Eve's abilities, and it is unclear if perhaps some of those secrets is what destroyed their relationship.
Camilla Shelby - Eve's mother. No love is lost there.
Archangel - The person the others were on their way to meet when the accident occured.
