Curio Killed the Cat

Much like my other free serials, Curio Killed the Cat is currently on hiatus and its site is now offline (which makes me sad, as it was a gorgeous design). Traffic continues to be high for my serials and I can no longer afford to support the individual pages. You can download CKtC Vol I in its entirety here in PDF.

Welcome to Curio Killed the Cat, an occult shop in Kensington Market, Toronto. Meet the employees: lazy hoodoo spellcaster Briar, feminist succubus Lilith, snobbish Wiccan priest Liam, and their perpetually confused–and drunk–boss.

When the announcement comes that their shop is closing–and soon–Briar, Lilith, and Liam take it upon themselves to try to save it.

Add a rival occult shop, a Goth boy who writes bad poetry, a seductive werewolf, some Christian protesters, and Lilith’s mom, and you have a comedy of errors in a light urban fantasy setting that has readers craving more.
