Holiday Sale

December 22, 2011 by Skyla

From now until January 2, you can enter the coupon code SANTA (unless it's santa--I don't know if it's case sensitive or not) at checkout when shopping at Mundania.com to receive 25% off your order, including both print and ebooks.

You'll find fab books by fab people, including my very talented authors: Dina James, Sarah-Jane Lehoux, Frances Pauli, J.A. Saare, Adrienne Jones, Judy Bagshaw, Melinda Skye, Elaine Corvidae, Krista Ball, and so, so many more (wicked talented veteran authors like William Greenleaf, Louise Cooper, Piers Anthony, and more).

Also, ME. We'll talk more about Author!Skyla in the new year with my resolutions/goals post, but for now... Lineage is out in February so if you want to catch up on the series, now's a good time.

Book One: Bloodlines
After three hundred years of unlife, vampire Zara Lain has seemingly done it all, and she's now making a living as a successful thief-turned-assassin. Her newest assignment seems simple enough--kill the aging leader of the O'Connor Coven and his only heir, and she'll have another ten million in the bank. But in the dangerous world of the supernatural, few things are ever "simple.

Book Two: Hunter
Sometimes natural predators need to be kept in check, and for that, there's Ryann David. Orphaned as an infant and raised by an exiled branch of the church to become a warrior for God, she and her fellow members of Venatores Daemonum have trained all their lives with only one purpose: destroy all demons in the mortal realm.

You can also get the rest of my backlist and the anthology Bad-Ass Faeries 2 with my short story "Whiskey Sour".

I asked a few weeks ago but I guess the code is finally working--we tend to do one every year.

I have a very specific resolution. Besides "Don't have any more nervous breakdowns." I'll post next week as well. Can't wait to see yours!

#3 They seem to do the codes

December 22, 2011 by Melissa (My World...in words and pages) (not verified)

They seem to do the codes every once in a while too. Which is very cool. :)

Oh, I don't think my resolutions will be very much this year. I'm taking the lame way out... I just don't know what that is yet. *sigh* I'll think up some stuff, like that stupid tree I killed setting on my desk. I want to play around with it, see what happens. But other than that I'm at a lose, for the moment.

Oh well. I'm going to have to get LOADS of money for Xmas as I have lots of book buying to do. (want to do anyway)

I have a very specific set of goals/resolutions/things this year. Hoping to get it all sorted next week and I'm going to tackle 2012 head on.

I have a Kindle tbr pile of 64 now. I'm soooo not allowed to buy anymore. I might have an official reading challenge this year for myself too so I can get through at least a chunk of the books.

#5 Sounds like you have some

December 22, 2011 by Melissa (My World...in words and pages) (not verified)

Sounds like you have some great plans in mind then for 2012. :)

Book buying seems to be my weakness. I don't read fast enough to get to them, but HAVE to have them. lol. Just to look at them makes me happy. Sounds strange. ha ha. Oh well, it's going to a good cause. ;)

#6 Not strange. I love

December 22, 2011 by Skyla

Not strange. I love books--love having series especially. When I split with my ex years ago, I basically lost all of my books--I had tons of series and things. It still upsets me. So I've had to re buy some things. And while I prefer reading on Kindle, many of my favourite books I get in paperback as well so they're on my shelf.

I also feel this way about movies. I like sitting and just looking at all my DVDs.
