Elaine Corvidae
Impish Regent
Elaine Corvidae's mother tutored her early on in the ways of evil by reading her Grimm's fairy tales (Elaine's favorite was "The Almond Tree," which probably explains a lot). She graduated to full-time evil at age eight, when she wrote her first story (all the characters died at the end). After becoming the first goth kid at her high school, she went on to spend far too many years in college and worked a wide variety of jobs, including archaeologist and raptor rehabilitator.
Elaine spends her time writing down what the voices in her head tell her. As a result, she is the author of over a dozen dark fantasy and science fiction novels, including the award-winning Shadow Fae series, and the author/artist of the Lovecraftian webcomic Riven Sol. She lives near Charlotte, NC, with her incredibly patient husband and several cats. Despite the rumors, she is not currently plotting to open an inter-dimensional portal and awaken the Elder Gods (as far as you know).
