I was finally in a position to pick up a handful of paperbacks to sign and sell.
Unfortunately, though I buy them at cost, tacking on the shipping rate and duties make them very expensive when converting to CAD. So I’m selling them for $15CAD/$12USD each.
I’ll post a list here of what I currently have in stock and update as they’re sold. Buyers will also have to pay shipping, which I cannot entirely predict but here are some estimates.
Shipping Cost Estimates
For one book shipping in Canada: $14CAD. (For two, a parcel should be about the same. For three, it’s about $15.) Guaranteed in 3 days.
For one book shipping Canada to US: $12CAD . Two is about $17CAD. Three is about $20. That’s air mail and the cheapest rate–in my experience, it usually takes about a week or two to arrive.
If you’re not able to get the books from me personally so need them delivered by mail, it’s much, much cheaper to buy on Amazon if you have Prime for free shipping, or are ordering a few things to qualify for free shipping.
PayPal or e-Interac transfer for the paperbacks, and then I can invoice later for the shipping when I have an exact amount–just in case I get to the post office and it’s cheaper when I send it. If you’re local, we can make arrangements to get books to you, just let me know.

I may have a few copies of Tiger’s Memory to sell in the future, but there were only fifteen printed and I don’t want to leave myself short for gifts/giveaways in the future (and because KDP changed how things work, I can no longer buy copies without putting them up for sale).
Fill in the form below so I have everything I need. PayPal or e-Interac $15 CAD or $12 USD each (you do the math!) to email@example.com Nothing ships until the books are paid for.
When will books ship? I’ll aim for within a week or so, though I’m on holidays later in September, so toward the end of the month it’ll be October before things ship.
Where can I pick them up if I’m local? I can leave a package for you at the not-for-profit where I work, and if you’re local, you know where that is.
Do you make the most money when I buy a paperback directly? No. I’m selling these at a slight loss. When you buy from Amazon, I make about $2USD per paperback sold; when you buy ebooks, at $4.99 I probably make about $3-$3.50, depending on where they’re sold. If that’s your concern, ebooks are where the greatest profit is. If you want a signed paperback for your collection, though, this is for you. And honestly, as long as a book is obtained legally, I don’t much care where/how you get it–go with what is most convenient for you.
Do you also include swag? I have been known to slip bookmarks and goodies into packages, yes.
I already have paperbacks, can you just send me bookplates? I have a habit of those getting lost in the mail, so I don’t offer that anymore.
